Who Is The Enemy
Heavenly Trip To Hell

HEAVENLY TRIP TO HELL (via Sonicbids Promotions) have some influences that trace back to SOULFLY or MACHINE HEAD when they were more 'Nu' than 'Thrash' sounding. H.T.T.H. are interesting - to say the least - by combining a terrible Hardcore vocal style with Nu sounding music, hurrah for my ears.
They started in 1996 in Long Beach, California and have released 2 EPs and 1 DVD as well as the current full-length. They have opened for SOULFLY and BODY COUNT in their area as well as playing Voodoo Fest in New Orleans.
Overall I find the vocal style to be pretty intolerable. It is nothing but distorted screaming, no thanks. I hear some Nu Metal elements as well as some hardcore and maybe just tiniest tinge of Thrash, while nothing fantastic at least it's slightly different.
No Way Out has a pretty nice bass line, however the Nu metal screaming just drives me so fricking nuts that it is just listen able after this point.
I would recommend this to fans of OTEP primarily since I hear lot of what they are currently doing, which is what bands were doing like 8 years ago. There might be some talent tucked away in this music, but the vocals make it so awful. I hope that the singer takes my words seriously and does something with his vocals since they are so one-dimensional.
