Heaven The Axe - Sex

AC/DC made the Australians to listen to Rock and Heavy Metal. HEAVEN THE AXE is a band from Australia who attempts to Rock N' Roll, having AC/DC's CDs under their pillows!

Let's see how are the things...We take two guitarists playing well, a drummer who hits the cymbals like a beast, a solid bass player and a sexy blond singer ala' GUNS N' ROSES' band's logo, a perfect site, Facebook, promotion, merchandise etc and that's it! We're going to be famous and will make money and the crowd will scream down the stage! No guys you have miss the most serious points, the music, the inspiration, all the things that made us love this music and we will listen it until Death! Let the female fronted Metal bands as WITHIN TEMPTATION and LACUNA COIL continue their good job.

The album "Sex, Chugs & Rock N' Roll" from the "Sex, Drugs and Rock N' Roll" phrase (they must have been searching for a long time to find this title...) included nine commercial songs easy to hear them, nothing prototype and unique. Mat Silcock and Steve Watts play good guitars. Phoebe Pinnock has a good voice but she screams for no reason. Tom Rossell and Tim Aldridge play well on drums and Bass in a fashionable order. But nothing more! No emotions, no love for that marvelous music that we say Rock and Heavy Metal! Sorry guys but we are not buying...

I do not know about the Sex and the Chugs but the HEAVEN THE AXE do not touch Rock 'N Roll in their first album and it is very pity because they have the talent to play better things than this thing here.
