What can you say about Haste The Day that hasn't been said already? They are most excellent. Recently listening to the new album When Everything Falls I absolutely loved it. The guys have really laid it on the table with this one. Seeing how this is my first review, it's an HONOR to start with Haste The Day.

Three guys, Brennan Chaulk (vocals, guitar), Devin Chaulk (drums), and Michael Murphy (vocals, bass), started the group Haste The Day.  After becoming well known in Indiana., Chaulk had a friend, Jason Barrens, whom he knew for quite awhile and asked him to become the guitarist for the band. Then later finding Jimmy Ryan for vocals.  
Ryan's vocal influences included Jeff Walker from Carcass and Daniel Weyandt from ZAO, which gave Haste the Day the hard...yet melodic style that is before us now. With When Everything Falls out in 2005, it reminds me of the album That They May Know You released in 2002, hard yet very moving in the best way. Burning Bridges released in 2004, I believe was the hardest of the discography so far. I must say though, When Everything Falls has left a mark on me. The lyrics are brilliant and the music is incredible. Most excellent is all I can really say. The Perfect Night and Bleed Alone are so meaningful, an amazing work of art poured out of the mouth of Jimmy Ryan when he performed these songs.  They did not go the wrong direction when they named this album, When Everything Falls, they left everything all on the album to perfection! Brilliant.
I am looking forward to anything and everything new that will be released from these guys. I will be looking for the guys on tour. For anyone who is a fan of metal, and has never experienced Haste the Day...I recommend you checking them out, you will not be disappointed.
