When I first came across this album, the band name GREEN DEATH struck me as a unique idea because of the album artwork and the band's logo. How cool is that to have a color as your main marketing theme in a Thrash Metal band?

The album starts with "Cilicium" which is a minute long atmospheric slow guitar work, laying some ground work for the heavy songs to come. The title track "Manufacturing Evil" has a very MEGADETH-esque style of riffs and vocals. The riffs have some sharp tapping parts as well really catchy hair lifting riffs. The clean vocals allow the listeners to also have a peek into the lyrical content and dig the music as a whole. "Gates of Hell" starts of on a very promising note with some excellent innovative riffs and backing gang vocals, but the joy dies down a bit due to the chaotic nature of the song as it progresses. The screaming vocals here is sure to make the seasoned Thrash fans to stand up and take notice for the sheer innovativeness and the ability to make it sound as good as it does. "Lord of the Dead" is another excellent song with some good neck breaking riffs and fist thumping gang vocals, but it does disappoint occasionally due to the chaotic feeling it has. "Soulless" is a slow emotional track which is a good way to experiment within the album and not be caught up in the Thrash attack. "Through the Eye" is almost a Crossover Thrash of 1.26 minutes as it plummets through your ears with its fast and loud instruments and vocals together, and it surprisingly is not bad. "Devil's Night" hits the perfect sweet spot between the Thrash riffs and the Power Metal stylish vocals. "Demons" is an impressive groovy mosh-pit friendly song. The album ends with another song in "One with the Flame", which is driven by Power Metal style vocals and thick groovy riffs.

You can't help but air guitar and headbang to GREEN DEATH as it packs lots of meat within the 9 songs that it offers here. Released in 2015, "Manufacturing Evil" is a new form of Thrash that has potential to stand out among the sea of new wave of Thrash bands. With its unique vocals, and the eerie riffs, this is an interesting Thrash album, even with its few drawbacks.
