Fragments Of Death

GRAVEWORM are coming from Italy and so far they have released eight full length albums including "Fragments Of Death". In my opinion, their debut album "When Daylight's Gone" and "Scourge Of Malice" are excellent works of atmospheric Death Metal. After those two, the following four full length albums disappointed me by their lack of inspiration. I am afraid that the same bad luck that hit "Diabolical Figures" followed "Fragments of death".
There is nothing special here my friend, though there is little improvement but still it didn't elevate to the level of an album like "Scourge Of Malice" or even "Engraved In Black". Some tracks has high potential but some others are just fillers. I would like something a bit more extraordinary from a band with such a background. Tracks like "Insomnia", "The World Will Die In Flames", "See No Future" and "Only Death In Our Wake", were to my liking. The rest have catchy guitar riffs and some good growls but nothing else. Regretfully, this is another work of GRAVEWORM with nothing special to present.
