Grand Massive - 2 album cover

So I wanted to start this one off with the first track "Sound Of War". The track starts off with a groovy beginning, smooth and simple with a very catchy and memorable beat to it which you can just bang your head to. Now along with this I also caught a chance to see the song's music video which If I may say is pretty trippy, to say the least, but it works so very well with the track that you have to go on with it like normal. The vocals on this track are so intense, which is to say they are just so relaxing that you could simply sit back with a cold one and let the good times roll on. Honestly this is a simple yet very catchy piece of music which just takes you to places that you never knew existed until this moment, the beats to this track are natural and heavy, the guitars simple yet groovy and the drums blast a pathway through the negativity.

The next track I decided to add is the second track entitled "Backseat Devil". From the very start this track shows its Doom roots by opening with a slow, yet gritty medley which after a minute in turns into a basic groove of heavy and mellow chords and beats leading the listener into a world of intrigue. One thing I feel though is that this song could be used as a soundtrack to a highspeed chase, or a one way ride down a long, steep road to nowhere which does make this something to focus on because to every great moment there is also a song which leads up to the grand finale which, in general, this song is able to offer to the listener. All and all this is a track that takes you for a ride and leaves you wanting more each time which is what you want in a song like this.

To conclude, this is a heavy, groovy piece which really offers a lot to the listener at that time, but in some places i feel the band has plenty of room to grow, which is just the journey for any musician, but all in all this is an achievement and I hope the guys in GRAND MASSIVE feel proud for making this record.
