Polish Death Metal trio GODSLUT released their debut album "Procreation of God" this past May under Selfmadegod Records. Created by Krzysiek Śniadecki in 2020, GODSLUT began with demos posted on Youtube, and their debut has received overall positive reviews globally. The album totes many Metal subgenres including Death, Thrash, and Groove Metal.

Where many debut EPs and LPs start off with an intro of some kind usually consisting of ambient sounds or ominous backtracks, GODSLUT jumps straight into the heavy riffs and vocals with "Procreation of God." Arguably, the first track of any album can make or break a listener's initial impression, and GODSLUT definitely starts off strong. "War, Pestilence, Death, Hunger" has some undeniably, insane, and impressive guitar elements, leaving you with a high-energy, positively chaotic track. The band stated that the main point of view behind this album lyrically is religious indoctrination through the eyes of a teenager, and it's brought to life as you progress from track to track.

I would love to see GODSLUT go on to be recognized by veterans of the genre. "Procreation of God" is a catchy album that reflects the talents of this trio, and it can easily lead the death metal charts. When listening to an album like this, you just know they have found their sound and know how to showcase their individual abilities. The blending of Krzysiek Śniadecki and Daniel Kozyra's vocals with ANTIGAMA's Paweł Jaroszewicz drum skills make for a very strong debut.
