GLORIOUS DEPRAVITY are a death metal band from Brooklyn, New York, USA, formed in 2018 but no strangers to the world of metal as they are all members of other bands in the metal scene. Vocalist Doug Moore coming from the band PYRON, drummer Chris Grigg and guitarist Matt Newton from black metal's WOE whilst fellow guitarist George Paul also comes from a black metal band MUTILATION RITES and bassist John McKinney was a member of CLEANTEETH prior to their 2016 split. This is the bands debut full length studio release coming off the back of a demo release of "Hospital Incinerator Blues" in 2018.

 The album is packed with seven tracks for death metal fans to enjoy with the demonic growling vocals from of Doug Moore, the battle between blackmetal guitarists Matt Newton & George Paul complimented by the organised chaos of drummer Chris Grigg held down by bassist John McKinney.

 The band had released three tracks from this album pre-release of the album, they've released "Ocean Of Scabs" the albums opening track in September of 2020 along with the albums fifth track "Digital Reaper" in the following October, where as the albums penultimate track "Hospital Incinerator Blues" was released in 2018 as a demo.

Opening track "Ocean Of Scabs" is a great opening track to the album as it gives listeners a great insight into what's to come on this intense death metal record of heavy riffs, hard hitting drums, dark sounding vocals and overall musical chaos and insanity for all involved.

The second single off this album "Digital Reaper" was much the like "Ocean Of Scabs" in its intensity, very in you face and very fast paced however it did include some nice and well placed guitar solos which sounded killer on this track and it leads directly into the track formerly released as a demo known as "Hospital Incinerator Blues".

The penultimate track of the album "Hospital Incinerator Blues" is just as high energy and shares the same intensity levels as  all the previous tracks on this record except this one is different as it starts off with a news report of some fictional yet catastrophic findings by government officials in a laboratory type facility which made the track stand out to me before the inevitable musical chaos that was to follow it.

Having listened through all seven of the tracks this album has to offer in their entirety I can say this album is definitely one for death metal fans to keep an eye out for, it is filled with high energy tracks that give listeners no choice but to head bang from the opening track to the closing one and it although seven tracks seems short, it is the right amount to leave listeners wanting more.
