FROM THE INSIDE is the studio project that marked the start of the cooperation between legendary Melodic Rock singer Danny Vaughn (ex-TYKETTO) and Frontiers Records. In the winter of 2007, Danny and Serafino Perugino (Frontiers Records President) discussed the production of a true Melodic Rock record in the vein of classic JOURNEY and TYKETTO.

Visions has a multi-AOR all-star line up in the songwritting credits, with Tom and James Martin from HOUSE OF LORDS that contribute their fabulous melodic perspective, along with famous producer/bass player Fabrizio Grossi (has worked with the greatest names of the music industry like Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Ice-T, Nina Hagen, Neal Schon, Glenn Hughes and many more) that handles the album's production and bass duties.

Visions is everything a TYKETTO (plus JOURNEY) fan would dream of listening today (Natalia, this is for you baby). Melodies coming from the heart and songs composed from people that just know the way to create such mood. Danny Vaughn fits great in the AOR/melodic style of Visions, his voice delivers every trouble-hearted note and lyric. Surely he should be one more candidate for JOURNEY's frontman position, but Pineda proved to be the man for the job.

Grossi, Vaughn and Eric Ragno (TAKARA, EQUINOX, VOX TEMPUS - handles the keyboards) took in charge the main songwriting role until the Martin brothers came in. The outstanding guitar work in the album from Jimi Bell (HOUSE OF LORDS) is something worth mentioning, too.
Visions includes songs like Light Years, Making Waves, Love Is No Stranger with top notch melodies on a smooth mid-tempo rhythm. The sensual power-ballad If It's Not Love, is my favorite song off the album, drawing the listener to the darkest places of love that I have used to call doubt.

FROM THE INSIDE is a studio project that can easily attract the interest of our Melodic Rock/ AOR/FM lovers. Lining more to his admiration for JOURNEY's side, than to his TYKETTO past, Danny Vaughn is once more the MVP of this album. Come on people; give in to your Visions of love, now!
