I am proud to present to you: FREDLÖS; signed via Threeman Recordings, hailing from Swedish grounds - performing Gothic Metal, on their debut full-length self-titled studio album entitled: "Fredlös" (released 20th of February, 2023). Since formation in 2021; ex-ENTOMBED guitarist Alex Hellid launches FREDLÖS, a new Gothic Metal quintet whose discography in question has only this here self-titled full-length studio album in their discography so far. 9 tracks ranging around an hour long FREDLÖS arrange an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Gothic Metal developments.

Opening up with this rampantly rompy march of tribal drums and flute-esque instrumentals; this symphonic remedy rumbles speakers with reverberating melody amongst a distorted fabrication in dense harmony, a hooking amplification experiments with sulphurous rips while scouring snares vivaciously shreds with duet fuelled singing momentum within "Våt Varm Jord". Liv Hope on vocals surges with throaty operatics while shouty yells ramify with monolithic tempo and ethereal but gnarly barks, while orchestrated vehemence trailblazes with somewhat melancholic maelstrom stability that's most strident & ritualistic. Violins merge with extremely intense guitar meatiness within trio strummers Tomas Karlson; Fredrik Danielsson & Alex Hellid, this towering powerhouse manifests with solid grinds in a hymnal execution that's most symbolic, especially in "Otto".

The slabby grittiness concretely creates a dexterously dynamic virtuosity; malignantly providing this sublime songwriting musicianship process that's rather volatile whilst seamlessly organic, supplying this profusely robust tightness on weighty finesse and distinguished substance which thuds on this sturdy tapestry of tradition folk-inspired history whilst versatile utilisation showcases this glorified heft in zestfully moody vibes that's most piledriving - vibrantly potent within the rifting persistency of "Farsot". Punchline grooves distinctively belt a clobbering hybrid in impactfully chiselling heaviness, forging a chunky calamity in chunky adrenaline and boisterously bouncy frenzies in barraged firepower expertise which soars with rambunctiously visceral sound production pummelling from flickering bass revver Robert Lindgren who thumps his axe with steely precision.

"Missväxt" unearths this majestically salubrious keyboard synthetics from Victor Dahlin; while riveting yet revelled pierces roll with echoing impulse and systematically salubrious musical transitions that's mythically ominous whilst primitively raw. Rollicking chugs frolic into a galloping fundamental in euphonic chimes while stompy slams pulsate with swift nimbleness & prodigious singing archetypes beautifully excel archaically as grunty gutturals distil a veracious pattern on male to female dulcet etiquette that's meticulously varied, profound within the axe-wielding wraith FREDLÖS bombastically arm themselves with - the titular track brims immensely here with this incentive, as does "Uppror".

This outré panache of calibre flamboyant artillery masquerades with rhythmic catchiness and berserking agility; infectiously injecting this venomous interjection in grim despair, as a discordant dissonance harbours an elegantly exquisite but foreboding presence within the mountainous riffage "Undergång" tribulates with. While the penultimate track "Deus" is a brief interlude of more solemn rites & ceremonial bestiality, until screaming barks continue within the lofty longevity of "Requiem" ...overall concluding "Fredlös" with quintessential exuberance and doomy buoyancy, entrancing one with a complex listen in diverse flair of musical mobility that's most sanguine whilst resoundingly performed.
