FORESEEN is a thrash metal band from Helsinki Finland, founded in 2010, releasing their second full length album on the month of April of this year. "Grave Danger," the brand new follow up to 2014's "Helsinki Savagery," is a masterpiece of straight up Thrash Metal as it should be taught to the young generations getting to know an identity and a collection of favorite bands.
"Violent discipline" is a brutal example of a what an opening track must be, a slaughter of a song with frantic pace at a rate of subdivisions worthy of the best eighties bands, a full throttle connection with "Chemical Heritage" matches almost too well making it sound like a single song. "Downward Spiral" is a shredder's dream come true with a guitar solo and subsequent riffs that could challenge the dark one himself to a duel in the middle of a cross road under a full moon to acquire eternal notoriety through the favor of the master of hell. Both an in crescendo in the power trip proposed by this album.
"Grave Danger," the title track of this record, is an amazing sketch on the raw of what the sprouts of the eighties thrash seed have emerged into. It has an amazing energy and the hunger to Thrash just for the sake of it, no world domination or selling to the masses; as if a tiny fragment of "Ride the Lightning" had stayed hidden in the darkest corner of a sacred vault of metal just to reemerge in the form a Finnish band more than thirty years ago. It's a must in the collection of Thrashers new and old alike, a bludgeoning tool manufactured by the most vicious blacksmith, this record gets you right there, in for the kill, no prisoners taken, only dead enemies completely unaware of the "Grave Danger."
An inspiration to listen to in a decade that needs the Thrash attitude now more than ever, forget corpse paint, a primitive feature that honestly needs to be inserted into more and more people in the politically correct infested moron society of nowadays. Worthy of a world based fandom, this record stands its ground paying homage to the great ones while holding the banner for the genre's battles of the future.
