As almost everyone admits nowadays, the image of a band and - most of all - the frontman/woman is giving a big credit. But the biggest problem when we focus on the image is that we are not paying attention to the only vital part: Music!

To tell you the truth, even though I like the atmospheric and gothic sound among other kinds of Metal, there are only one or two bands with female vocals that I can listen to. Nevertheless, I tried hard to give a chance to this release, but, to be polite, this album is one of the worst I ever listened to. Who cares if Lady Angelyca has a career as a model; I believe this is one of the reasons that this band has a contract. In the short time that the band is alive (they are active from 2000) they released two demos and an album. To tell you the truth, I didn't find anything else for the band, so, fortunately, the bio is small.

In their second album, Tales For Bad Girls, FOREVER SLAVE sounds like a really bad copy of EVANECENCE. It's not that I like EVANECENCE, but this band is worse! Just take all those 'second league' female vocal bands, take out any inspiration they have, take out the idea of listening to any riff, it's like listening one song through the whole album, and you have this 41 minutes of boredom. I believe that the tales they are talking about in the title, are tales to make the bad girls turn away, and us too. Even THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE are better than them.

If you like 'Gothic' Metal, you better listen to something else. If you are 13-14 years old, listening to that 'emo' stuff, you may like it. Bands like FOREVER SLAVE makes me wonder; why bands that are kicking ass are without a contract.
