The band has been together since 2007, they have gone through several band members in that time. Ryan O has been with the band since 2014. Jared, who is the drummer as well as involvement with vocals, is one of the founding members of the band. Bobby and Ryan K have been part of the band since 2010. They are their style of Metalcore having all four members being vocalists. They sound like old school Metalcore did. Let's hear what they have got for us here.

"The Face of Hate" kicks us off, with a slow-building intro, more like from a film to introduce someone new. That could be their idea for the song. It does not stay slow for long, once the vocal screech kicks in the melodies begin to expand. The pace is not electric and does feel like the songs are just beginning to flex, which is a common thing this early in an album, so can't fault that too much. The sounds aren't too bad, however, I do think that the volume needed to match the drums, the rest of the instruments were a bit too low. Not a bad start, but hopefully room to improve

"Breaking The Mirror" has a bit more pace and throws in a few more notches in aggression into the melodies so it seems more like a new approach, they could have let go more and sped things up more, becoming more explosive. The song seems very Modern Metal layout and that for me means that the song is not as heavy as I thought it would be. They expanded here somewhat but failed to break the album out of the pace barriers

"Annihilation" starts with a solid drum beat. This had a similar vibe to how HEAVEN SHALL BURN's Endzeit builds up at the start, however, this one lacked conviction. Seems like such a missed opportunity. The build-up instrumental after the start is really good as far as aggression and pace and gives life to the song. It is still a slight bit off in pace from where it should have been to clinch the win. The song changes and builds again, it is going well with the progression again however it ends without hitting the peak.

"The Path" goes slower, but more technical based to start up. They go into the slow, but aggression approach of PARKWAY DRIVE, for me, this is too obvious and they were going well with their own methods. This has taken the album a step back, making it worse as the title track. This one never hits a peak, it seems to do more damage to the progression and pace.

"Prophet" is another slow starter, it doesn't stay this way for long though. It all kicks off with the melodies expanding, but then crashing down and losing all pace. This is now changing the pace from a metal song to a mainstream feel, they change it again and it then goes back. I don't get what they were going for. The slower, heavier approach would have been fine on its own.

"Locked (In My Head)" sounds better from the start as far as pace goes. Its got the modern metal feel to it and it has lost the Metalcore vibe. It has a more positive vibe than the last few songs, but still a bit too poppy in the approach for me. Same can be said for the start of "God of Fire" this is not an Industrial song, but it has the vibes mixed in with some Dject kinda styles. I am not a fan of how this song panned out.

"Stockholm" sounds more like I thought the album was heading towards from the start of said album. The song doesn't expand enough and retracts back to the more Modern Metal sounds, the melodies aren't hitting their peak nor targets for me.

"Louder Voice" hits hard to start, then retracts far too far back into the shell. The song is so generic that it loses identity and originality.

"Vendetta" is the close the album, and I can't see it changing too much, it will flirt the heavy melodies around to gain interest and then fade away. I hope I'm wrong. So as it goes heavy to start it keeps a good pace, vocals are a bit basic, but the pace remains solid throughout.

Ok, so it is obvious that I wasn't a fan of the end of the album. It has a lot of potentials, but for me doesn't hot anywhere near where they could have. If you're a Modern Metal fan, then you will probably think I'm writing bullshit, this is where opinions come in.
