FALLENGRACE has a description of themselves on their EPK and it reads: Our sound is marketable and radio friendly with great melodies and hooks while maintaining a hard edge, which couldn't be a better description of them. The band only included two songs from their latest offering in the EPK via the Sonicbids Promotional site, but that was all I needed.
The brothers formed this band in 2005 with the intentions of creating radio friendly rock by infusing their various influences. After practicing for over a year they decided to make an album with producer Chris Lieck. They also have videos posted on Youtube and Myspacevideo.
This review shouldn't take long since the guys only included two songs on their EPK and they are also the kind of band that I can lump into their genre ultra easy. What genre is that you say well it is the US Hard Rock radio friendly genre. This band can be lumped directly into the pointless drivel that is PUDDLE OF MUDD, NICKELBACK or THREE DAYS GRACE. Yesterday the first track I listened to could have came off any of the previously mentioned bands latest efforts if they had a little Southern US flare. 12 Gods well that can be in the exact same group. Their singer sounds exactly like a singer a different band, but I can't place the originator of this sound.
I personally can't stand stuff like this, and I wish bands on this Sonicbids site would send me some stuff that is some of the generic stuff ever. This release is right up with some of the worst from Sonicbids. Though if you like PUDDLE OF MUDD or NICKELBACK then by all means buy the record and go their show, but if you don't like the bands mentioned then stay away from this release.
