EXMORTIS is a USA based band that has been existing since 1987 but they have only released demos, EPs and compilations of both. This one doesn't escape from the band's concept being an EP that has four actual songs and runs for 17 minutes approximately.

The band plays old school Death Metal with lots of Thrash elements. The songs are similarly styled having fast pace tempo and furious riffs and all follow the same structure. The production is great and I believe that it helps the band to achieve the old school feeling. There is nothing new or revolutionary about EXMORTIS. They just play what they like, old school Death Metal, but I don't know if anyone would bother checking them until they offer a whole album, which in that case can be a better example of the band's effort.
