Evergrey - A Night To Remember album cover

I still can't understand why there was only the first CD of this double set available in the promo pack. Budget limitations? No need for a complete review? Either way, the Swedish premier Power/Symphonic/Prog Metal band's upcoming live CD/DVD set will soon hit the stores, but here's half of the review for this performance in their hometown Gothenburg, Sweden:
The sound is simply amazing! I can feel the drums pounding as if they were sneaking out of my own bedroom! All instruments are set on a clear yet loud scale, with equal contribution to the final mix. It may be a little bit of a shit,-gotta-be-right situation when you're recording your live performance for the purpose of an audio/video release (or both, like in this case) but the band seems to enjoy it a lot. The crowd can be defined as the additional player in Evergrey! Hope the visual evidence will be of equal supremacy.
The playlist consists of many band hits but some more weird tunes are also available. Evergery's music has the double advantage of being: i) interesting and complex enough to no let the audience fall asleep, ii) straightforward enough to allow groovy dancing and headbanging in party mood. The up-tempo madness of Blinded, the majestic force of More Than Ever, the dark calmness of Waking Up Blind (female-helped and female-friendly also) illustrates the elegant music live approach of a band whose work only as professional could be summarized. These guys obviously mean bussiness!
Hope the second CD of the pack is of the same quality (the quantity is much the same). Evergrey's music can apply to an extensive field from prog Metal supporters to classic Metal admirers, so: Don't be afraid to grab it if you're not already familiar with the band's back-catalogue. Maybe this live has the motive.
