Reign Through Immortality

Oh Black Metal, what could I ever do without you my love... You bring me sadness with SHINING, excitement with AZAGHAL, and pure misanthropy with my amazing new discovery, ERIMHA.
One of the things I never expected Victory Records to release is Black Metal. I won't lie, I'm a huge fan of their Metalcore and more mainstream releases, but to delve into Hardcore Punk, and now Black Metal, that is a sign of maturity. Speaking of maturity, Erimha's "Rein Through Immortality" has loads of it.
What you'll expect on this release is a blend of BEHEMOTH's "The Apostasy" and DIMMU BORGIR's "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia" all done in a special mature Black Metal formula. Now, while not being something underground Black Metal fans will desire, this release is definitely something to satisfy the ear of all mature Metal fans, due it's very well done composition, vocals to die for, and the overall dark evil feel.
Standout tracks are "Bewildering Nightmare" with the flawless operatic additions and the face melting growls over near-perfect Black Metal riffs. Other tracks worth noting are the mosh worthy "Verdict of the Soul", and 10 minute journey "Metempsychosis".
Grab this release or miss out on an extravagant revival of the extreme side of Symphonic Black Metal.
