enkElination (enkeli - meaning Angel in Finnish) is female fronted Melodic Metal band from London in United Kingdom. Band was formed in November 2011 by classically trained former opera singer Elina Siirala from Finland. After playing numerous live shows in and around London, enkElination released their first EP in September of 2012. The past few months they've been recording their debut album "Tears Of Lust" which will be released on 21 July 2014.

I have fallen in love with this band from first listening of great track "Tears of Lust". It opens with gentle piano & amazing voice of singerin. Lower guitar riffs sounds fine with Elina's voice and shows infinity of this song. Melodic chorus is memorable from first listening. High climate of singing and heaviness of guitars - this is what I love! Worth to mention is that gentle piano in the background just add flavour to this incredible art. What an impressive atmosphere & gorgeous singing is in "Changeling" where opera voice mix heavy guitars in the background. Wonderful singing surrounds perfectly listener's mind. This track is so melodic and I am sure fans of NIGHTWISH will like it. Progressive elements are in "What Have You Become" where are Melodic Metal sounds together with calmer sounds and fabulous solos!

Fantastic voice of vocalist is very well hearable in brilliant ballad "Last Time Together" where are calmer sounds with mega beauty inside, piano and amazing guitar solo. These all in this ballad could to catch listener's heart. Another fabulous ballas is called "Lullaby" with piano, romantic sounds and incredible guitar solo. Elina Siirala connecting very well power with calm, temptating and mysterious in her balsamic voice. Interesting is powerful "Insane" with faster drums, changing rate and unexpected climate which dig into mind of fan and caused obsession about these sounds. Refrain in high style is in brilliant "Reborn" where heavier and guitars play together with calmer sounds too. This connection is just amazing!

Also worth to listen are: "Never Ending" with calm opening and stronger riffs, gorgeous vocal and refrain with NIGHTWISH influences, hypnotizing "Chimeras" with guitars in Hard Rock & Metal style, "Abbys" with magnificent keys, stronger guitars in dark climate and vocal which melting me definitely and "Higher Ground" with clear rhythmic section, heavenly singing, melodic chorus in symphonic style and stronger guitars whose I love.

Melodic Metal band enkElination follows perfectly their own way.  They create excellent music & they prove that they can to play amazing ballads and also fantastic powerful songs. Music of this English band is my obsession after first listening. I couldn't stop to listen these beautiful songs on album because they are so catchy with heaviness too. Their textes and music could to catch by heart! Album's production is on high level, inside are power, energy and melodic!
