English Dogs - The Thing with Two Heads album cover

"The Thing With Two Heads" is the newest material released by ENGLISH DOGS in over two decades. It is also their first release through Candlelight Records.

Drummer/founding member of the band also known as Pinch called the album an "angry bastard of a record," and the album is also a direct result of the successful 2012 North American tour. Songs such as "Royal Flying Corpse" have guitar riffs and rhythms that show of an early power metal sound. Gruff vocals by Adie Bailey showcase the sound that can be recognized from their early days. In "Up From The Depths" some sounds are very forced and kind of typical sounding.

I was so happy with the entire album overall. This new sound combines many different types of metal, and it's completely original.
