Unsound Dimensions

ENFERIA is Symphonic Metal band from Sweden. Their album "Unsound Dimensions" was just released.
Right down to it, into the heart of the album, "Angel of Hate" manages a slow build up with a softer direction right into the belly of the beast, carving with a METALLICA oriented demonstration, not too Thrashy. The lead vocals reminded me the singer of HEROES DEL SILENCIO, Enrique Bunbury, which is no less than amazing, especially with his collaboration with the keyboards. Same thing occurred on "Pandemonium", a darkened feature, fast paced drums, cool orchestration of classical music effects and in general, a diverse treat. "Dreamcatcher" turned out to be one hell of a catchy note, presenting great lead guitars, however, can't really comment the same about the vocals. "End Inanity" enshrines the symphonic emblem of the band, tougher riffery, crushing with speed, to a certain extent letting it boast into a Deathly outcome, yet catchy and melodic. "Keeper Of Souls" seemed to be pursuing a different direction, more into the Industrial Metal outbreaks of RAMMSTEIN, but surprises with its multiplicity, sinking in as an epic Progressive Metal tune, following a path into a DIO driven classic, call that one chunky mix. "Pathfinder" is also an interesting fusion with new ideas, summarizing the same notion of the former. "In Vain Mind" embraces the Gothic / Power Metal of NIGHTWISH, rather impressive, decent atmosphere, gloomy and deadly.
ENFERIA is the foundation of a talented crew, releasing a good release that is much assorted, spreading its ideas and experiments all over the place. There is a feel of uncertainty, probably still looking on where to direct much attention, yet this release is a necessary commodity for every Metal that enjoys the mystery.
