The Hungarian Groove specialists return after the 2015 success "Aggressor" with this built up "Fury" (sorry for the pun). If you are a big fan of Max Cavalera and you haven't heard of these, you are in for a treat. These are what SEPULTURA could have sounded like if Max had stayed and CAVALERA CONSPIRACY if Max just concentrated on them. Enough of the Cavalera loving I hear you say. If you have never heard of these guys try their other songs like "You Can't Control Me", "Fuck You All" and "Holocaust". I found this band in relation to SOULFLY and I now love them. They are raw and don't hold back. Enjoy this album guys.

"The Prophet of Doom" starts off like a firework, intense straight away, no slow build up, but a hard and powerful intro. EKTOMORF have kept their sound similar to "Aggressor", in a way where fans can recognize it, if you're a fan you know exactly who they are just from the instrumentals. This has the Thrash mini solo and hard-hitting drum beat to keep you banging your head and feet. Zoli still rolls out a few screams, but never overpowering.  This is their 13^th album, they know exactly who they are and what they sound like. The thrash aspect also goes with timing, it's a 3-minute journey that you don't want to see/hear end, but it leaves you wanting more. A very good opener.

"Fury" is a Thrash-packed punch. Exactly what is says on the tin. Its not hard to work out that something has pissed them off to make this song. Many previous songs show Zoli's hatred for racism, coming from a traveler's background. This is very similar. Its got a great sound. Short and to the point. The head will continue to bang. The lyrics are a bit repetitive, but with many Groove bands its all about the shredding solo, this is the same. It will kick the crap out of what ever has made him furious (couldn't help that). Watch out! "Bullet in your Head" is a romantic song, is it fuck. This slows down a but from "Fury" but still pulsates like you come to expect. Again, it has short bursts of power and aggressive vocals. The guitar has more technical and a fair bit of Sludge. It's a great mix. The sound works well, the melody is intense. If you like this sort of mix then the album is a joy to hear.

"Faith and Strength" straight from the start is in your face. Like the ret of the album. The melody is dirty and similar to "Bullet in your Head". The vocals are short but vitally hard -hitting once more. By this point of the album you'll love the general sound and be happy that it hasn't changed much throughout. A few dirty solos thrown in and a Rhythm and Bass that strum along beautifully together will leave you wanting more and allowing the repeat button to remain for this album.
