Egosystema - Dentro il Vuotro album cover

The newly Italian band, EGOSYSTEMA have released yet another record within the space of a year of being a band. All sung in their mother tongue the band stick true to their metal roots, of producing a home sounding tune that their locals can enjoy. By doing this they have added a deeper meaning to their music as its something more niche and collective for a small group of people to understand rather than another generic band, producing metal.

"Luce" starts us off with a vocal plunge gushing in straight away, backed up by a dreadful guitar riff, which accomplices the song, allowing the vocals to dominate the track. Not quite understanding what exactly Cristiano Gallo is singing about lyrically, his tone does show aggressive dips as well as passionate yells.
However following this track, "Cosa Mi Resta" takes a darker route, as we are attacked by a heavy riff that overflows your ears.

The band may have taken risk with their chosen language and tone, as this is common amongst a lot of metal bands, it's not something that produces great fuss with the wider metal-heads. The majority of the tracks seem to be dulled down in sound as Gallo's vocals are rugged and sharp with every word he speaks, however instrumentally wise, it seems to just fit the song rather than making a great impact.

For a fresh Metal band, ECOSYSTEMA have explored their fair share of talent, however there are no banger tracks which stand out for me, with just producing an all round alright album, rather than an interesting piece of art.
