EDEN WEINT IM GRAB is a German band formed in 2000, in Berlin and they play Gothic Metal. The music is dark but not so depressing and dull, actually it sounds a bit like Irish Folk music, I am sure it would go well with tones of beer in a hot summer day.

The production is good, the music is very interesting with lots of variations. I really like the addition of the violin, it has a party atmosphere, very unlikely for a Gothic band where all you hear is sadness and dullness. I would like to speak German so I could understand what they are singing about and be able to deliver a more deep review about their music, but nevertheless I have been to Germany and saw at the festivals German bands singing in German and the crowd was just going insane, the music is good so I think that's what matters really.

The CD opens with "Die Jenseitsflugmaschine" lots of variations good riffs and cool vocals, the whole CD follows the same path, aggressive at times and slow sometimes, musically is very good I am sure the German fans will love this CD.

Maybe in the future they can release something in English, that would be interesting indeed!!<
