DYSANGELIUM is Black Metal band from Germany, formed in 2009 in Kiel, Schleswig-Holstein and back then they released their first onslaught upon us called "Exordium" it was a Demo and it was well received by the Black Metal fans and the success was such that caught the attention from the people at World Terror Committee and following that they did release another Demo called "Leviaxxis" and the success was just as good as its predecessor. It is very interesting to hear Black Metal from Germany because they have their own style and heritage to be inspired by and that is just amazing really because quite often they are very good on what they do.
World Committee Records have managed to produce a very good album, sounding is excellent, it is raw, it is underground and has a very cool atmosphere as well.
First track "Consecrated By Light" begins very slow and heavy and quickly accelerates like a train out of brakes, fast riffs and sharp vocals, very good indeed. "Words Like Flames"; another storm approaches, the vocals are just too good, deep and with that sounding like when one is suffering. I like the changes of tempo as it works very well in here, unlike other Black Metal bands when the pace is full blast DYSANGELIUM brings up to the plate much more than that, therefore becoming a very interesting and amusing band to listen to.
"Obelisk Of The Seven Crowned Son" again a great song, well arranged with lots break ups and also I really like the lyrics approach, very smart indeed. DYSANGELIUM have accomplished what they had intended to do earlier on with the two demos, that is to gather all their ideas and have more space and time to produce a masterpiece and I think they got it quite rightly, there is something special throughout the album, like a ritual done step by step. Like I said before the production is excellent, dark and murky and the artwork says a lot about the album and the band. Still, the band goes beyond it, for a first full album I say that is fucking amazing, and again as I said before the music is extreme and goes beyond that too; you do not get bored at all, "Murmura" reflects that quite well and bringing down the curtains with golden keys "I am The Witness, I am The Servant": killer song with cool solos and pay attention on the bass, please give us some more.
