Dysangelium - Leviaxxis album cover

From the gloomy depths of Kiel, Germany emerges Black Metal force DYSANGELIUM and they bring fourth their Demo "Leviaxxis".

These powerful immortals were summoned together in 2009 from different old and dying projects. With their first demo "Exordium" already under their belt, it's only fair to bring fourth their latest instalment.

As the opening track "'Til Only Thy Light Is Left" fills the air with dark gloom Black Metal kings EMPEROR come to mind in terms on the fast paced guitars and rolling drums. In terms of the vocals I am reminded of their Polish Black Metal brothers BEHEMOTH as they aren't quite as high pitched. The same applies to the other tracks "Obelisk Of The Sevencrowned Son" and "Chaomega".

In terms of how well they adapt to their chosen genre they do that very well; particularly since I've likened them to two of the best bands in the genre.

So I really enjoyed this demo as it gave me an insight what these Black Metal warriors have to offer; I look forward to hearing and seeing more from them, maybe in the form of an album or an EP.
