DRIVING FORCE are a heavy metal band who hail from Zürich, Switzerland. Formed in 2008 with 3 albums and an EP behind them, they are growing as a band and currently thrives under their record label Pure Steel Records. Having releasing their "Agasul By Night" EP back in 2009, and the albums "Death Win Money Sin" in 2011 and "This One Goes To Eleven" in 2013, "All Aboard" is the band's third full-length album, released on September 7th, 2019. It's certainly an album to crank up the stereo to!

Musically-speaking, the sound is typical DRIVING FORCE, showing the band are staying true to their style.  The album has 11 tracks and each has their own merits. Some of the more noticeable tracks include: "Black Beauty", a 5 minutes 4 seconds track which is lyrically sound & musically very catching, making it, therefore, easy to sing along to. The title track "All Aboard" is another song worthy of listening to. 5 minutes 20 seconds-long, it has some amazing instrumental work, perfect to swing your hair to! "Sticky Shit Kid" is a heavier and faster-paced song, full of excellent rhythm and fine vocals from vocalist Thomas Mathis and backer Martinj Frei. A particular favorite song of mine from "All Aboard" is "Like A Weed" - with its fast- paced momentum, it gets you thirsty for more. The song "Again" shows the band's softer side and is generally of slower-paced track, which delivers incredibly-sounding contrast from the rest of the tracks.

The album "All Aboard" comes in at 50 minutes 30 seconds long, and is a captivating album to listen to. A classic heavy metal style which gives the listener a good idea of the bands musical tastes. The albums cover, featuring a steam engine train, smoke billowing, was created by Vigilant Artworks. The band had definitely shown that they have their future mapped out clearly, and we can only hope at this stage that we don't have to wait another 6 years for the next album release! An album to stick on, turn up & tune into!

In my opinion "All Aboard" is a great album to listen to and is a great example of the quality and style of DRIVING FORCE as a band; Heavy with action packed lyrics that throw a punch at the listener, they are a band who could inspire many a new musician to the scene. The clarity and focus that illuminates from "All Aboard" show the depth of DRIVING FORCE's attention to detail. A very talented band with high prospects for the future, an album I would definitely recommend.
