If you want an album of pure, unadulterated grindcore/crust-punk, you can't go wrong with Sweden's DRÅP.

The band's first album "En Naturlig Död" or "In Natural Death" is extremely cathartic and as ferocious and unrelenting as a pack of honey badgers. (I always wanted to name drop honey badgers into one of my reviews because they're hard as nails, fight bigger animals to the death and eat scorpions for breakfast, so thank you DRÅP for being the right band.)

You won't get any subtlety on this album - it is pure balls to the wall chugging riffs, and supremely pissed off hardcore vocals. There are definitely no whiney emo moments or soft breakdowns on this album!

Sadly I don't understand Swedish which is a real shame as I would have liked to understand the lyrics.  However, the band's Facebook biography explains that the band had a sad start as vocalist Joachim's mother passed away from cancer in 2010.

The band had initially decided to record an album recorded in her memory and not perform songs live. However, the band said "but when the pieces started falling into place and gig requests rolled in more and more, DRÅP became an intense live band."

Another crucial fact key to the history of the band is that DRÅP cite fellow Swedish crust-punks SKITSYSTEM as an influence and you can definitely hear traces of the latter band in both the muscular riffs and vocals.
As with most bands in this genre, they pretty much stick to the same expected formula throughout and you have to listen to them bearing in mind what their scene entails.

You know what they're going to sound like and DRÅP are pretty decent at what they do, they are extremely tight, technical and are full of energy. Oh and did I mention that the album art is pretty cool too?
However, I would suggest to grow as a band, they try to vary their style and some of the vocals to avoid each song sounding identical.

However, I'm sure grindcore fans would appreciate adding this band to their playlist.
