I am proud to present to you: DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION; signed via Valve Studio Records, hailing from Greek grounds - performing Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, on their 3rd album entitled: "Urban Legends" (released 3rd of September, 2021). Since formation in 2015; the quartet in question have 3 albums in their discography so far: "City Guide" (released in December of 2016), "Born Enraged" (released in March of 2018) and this here 3rd album entitled: "Urban Legends'' of which I am introduced to. 10 tracks ranging at around 41:76, DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION deliver an intricately designed formula on some heavy-hitting Hard Rock/Heavy Metal amalgamations.

Opening up with these rompy bass grooves; amplified hooks and bouncy harmony, an enriching execution at a flamboyantly chiselling aesthetic intrudes eardrums as funky adrenaline surges on rampantly riveting maelstrom vehemence within "River To Drown" that belts at a clobbering element in euphonically driving pursuits on mellifluous punchiness & jumpy remedy. Reveling with vibrantly potent synergy, these stridently skyrocketing ramifications merges electric fretwork stability & rocking virtuosity that smacks with piledriving weight amongst a tight solidity as a borderline foundation on frolicking gallops that thump out with stompy calamity from consisting drum and bass crunchers Tasos D. & Nik Denielos. Both implement a dense injection on venomously rambunctious reverb that trembles with strong melody, "All Of My Love" showcases this profusely, where robust tempos & sonically seamless trailblazing rumbles with piercing laceration mobility.

A killer fabrication infects speakers with sulfurous yet zestful substance, while organic nimbleness rapidly swifts with choppy firepower expertise as guitarist George Matikas creates a dexterously dynamic manifestation on sublime riffs & sturdy thuds that strike with monolithic tempo while rollicking slayings grinds immensely while forging at a distinct distilment on distinguished chugs that pulsate with impactful impulse. "Brother" manifests with concretely gritty experimentation, as a forged hybrid hammers down with meaty magnitudes while upbeat outbursts revolve around at a groundbreaking furocity on prodigiously prestigious catchiness and progressively technical manifestations that thunder with captivating fluidity. "Foolin' My Head" attributes with more diligently flamboyant furore as hell raising ragers, beer-drinking havoc and sonically seamless versatility showcases volatile zeal while rough around the edges vocals from Dean Mess gravitates with throaty singing prowess while raspy and fierce, they're marvelously tampered with steely yells & shouty attitude.

"Slow Down" is more of a mellow track which has all of the ingredients of an electrifying, but atmospheric gig pleaser & melodic track should have. Implementing all of those hefty chords in between for good measure, you sometimes need tracks like this before more abrupt calamity begins again... "Electric Loud Noise" is a prime example here, where the crowd goes crazy once again towards the enthralling furocity in hard rock pandemonium & throttling stampedes of rhythmic yet motoring songwriting musicianship while "Staring At The Sun" marvels with more hybrid experimentation on relentlessly salubrious remedy. So far, DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION is a stereotypical meltdown of warbling distortion and primitive stability. "Buried In Wasteland" is another strong yet resounding semblance of systematic, spectral tremolo points that supplies with discordantly archaic instrumental masterclass which will raise horns high as does the vocal range qualities and groundbreaking architecture of the punchline finesse that's materialised here. It's all a fun-filled, hard rocking time so far.

The penultimate track "The Lever" barrages a vivacious outre on inventive craftsmanship frenzies (as does the record as a whole), while retaining those monolithic tempos on rock 'n' roll expertise frolics intriguingly while the overall concluding epic "License 2 Kill" cools the tone down in which oscillates with amazing basslines, echoing grumbles and enthusiastic pummeling while wildly rushing yet razor-sharp eloquence captures an elegant yet spirited performance which most surely deserves credit where it is due.

Bottom line; I am compelled to say that DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION certainly outdone themselves with "Urban Legends", it evolves the pub-crawl legionnaires of savage yet meaty music that metamorphs themselves with unique vehemence very well with that modern flavour exuberantly. A grandiose grandeur that synthesizes with an enjoyably entertaining experience that most surely rewards newcomers with an exhilarating discovery, definitely worthy of spinning & replaying a good handful of times, do check it out.
