DOWN AMONG THE DEAD MEN, a new musical project coming from the minds of Dave Ingram and Rogga Johansson.

Ingram has been well known from his time as vocalist for two of England's mightiest Metal legends, BOLT THROWER and BENEDICTION along with his Danish band DOWNLORD. Johansson is equally legendary with multiple bands under his belt, including PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER, EDGE OF SANITY, PUTREVORE, REVOLTING and THE GROTESQUERY to name but a few. DOWN AMONG THE DEAD MEN's musical style has been specified as Crust-riddled Punk with a definite Death Metal edge and if you came to know me my loyal fans I'm a big fan of Crust Metal ... so let's go.

This review was very simple for me, "Down Among The Dead Men" might not be a pure Crust Metal album, and sometimes tends to venture into the Hardcore driven realms, it's still a masterpiece of awesome Metal, if you are into the rough stuff, not too complex or demanding, just plain offensive with a lot of blood, I would suggest to head down to the mud of meaty riffs and coercive vocals and have your brutality. No doubt that Lucifer is now trying to find a torrent to download this album in order to have some real loud sound in the abyss.
