The story of Mrs Dorothee Pesch started 25 years ago when she joined WARLOCK somewhere in Dusseldorf of Germany. Those days were kind of hard for a female in the Metal scene but beautiful Doro with the Udo like voice was really tough to put down. so, here we are in 2008 ready to celebrate Doro's on-going career and strong presence in the Metal scene with once in a lifetime concert that will take place in Germany. In the context of this celebration Doro put together a special Ep to add an audio signature to the festivities.
The Ep contains the song Celebrate in three versions, the non album version of The Night Of The Warlock and the single version of Rescue Me. Celebrate is an arena song with a strong sing-along chorus that will excellently fit to the concert's atmosphere. The first Celebrate features Doro and fans, the second (and best one) SAXON's Biff Byford while the third is filled with female voices; apart from the Metal Queen there are Angela Gossow from ARCH ENEMY, HOLY MOSES's Sabina,  BENEDICTUM's Veronica, Liv Kristine (Leaves Eyes, GIRLSCHOOL and Floor from AFTER FOREVER.  The structure of the song is kept simple and straightforward paying tribute to Doro's significant and true course in Metal. Everyone who has been to a Doro concert knows what I am talking about; the Queen has a special ability to connect with the audience and always give 100% on-stage. The rest of the tracks are classic Doro tunes with Rescue Me as the necessary power ballad.
Although Celebrate offers nothing musically is an excellent excuse to sing your lungs out when Doro will hit the stage of the ISS-Dome on the 13th of December. The rest of us we can still enjoy these easy going tracks and pretend that we are there!
