DORIS BRENDEL from London, United Kingdom is one of the most unique female rock-singers of the last decade. She is playing Alternative / Progressive Rock and she is daughter of famed classical pianist Alfred Brendel. Once again she has collaborated with producer and multi-instrumentalist Lee Dunham, guitarist of rock/metal band PRIMARY SLAVE. Her new 8th album called "Upside Down World" will be release,on Sky-Rocket Recordings on 20th April 2015.

Opening "The Devil Closed the Door on Me" has nice Bluesy riffs, great melodic chorus, amazing bass working with drums and the wonderful voice of Doris Brendel. Very rocking and catchy track! Energetic "Accessorise" has Electronic sounds in '80 years climate. So melodic track with gorgeous sounds and nice guitar solo. Gentle sounds with perfectly working bass & drums are in "Adored". True beauty and wonderful singing create balsamic atmosphere.

I love "Slap Me and You Die" with Funky rhythm and even Grunge echoes. Very interesting & lovely voice of singer in chorus gives true beauty to this song. What a fantastic refrain with changeable rhythm & higher sound! Amazing riffs and change into galloping melodic riffs like in IRON MAIDEN style. Titled track "Upside Down World" has inside harmonic and gentle sounds which are really relaxing! In "A Little Act of Defiance" has fabulous gentle piano, violins and edgy Grunge vocals. Also here is listenable impressive building atmosphere with fabulous rhythmic section & melodic refrain. Stunning sounds Progressive rhythmic section and variety of bass with keys!

Interesting are also: "Tumbling Away" with piano, commercial, oriental & pop echoes, "Life Is a Mushroom" in Funky climate with saxophone, piano and wonderful violins with piano and great bass in "Still Running".
