DIVINE ELEMENT is an Epic Extreme Metal band from Greece founded in 2003, after taking a break in 2010, they came back at full force three years ago to release "Thaurachs of Borsu," legendary, evocative and fulfilling, this album is full of characteristics that can be associated with Power Metal, Black, Black Metal, Death Metal, Progressive Metal and Death Metal, yes ladies and gentleman, this is as Metal as it has gotten in the last few years, and from what other country than the one that served as the cradle of civilization. Ever since "A realignment with destiny", the first track of this album and the connection it creates with the title track of a strong mystique surrounding the work of this duo becomes a part of the listener, which becomes unable to get rid of it throughout this whole record, filled with melodic riffing, along with sublime keyboard backgrounds that approach DIVINE ELEMENT to power metal and create at the same time, a profound element of an original proposal in the form of a new band with all this blend of elements.

"On The Trail Of Betrayal" a nine-minute-long track that depicts a profuse ability from these two musicians that have managed to form a force worthy of recognition depending on themselves to carry on with a band even after long breaks and member dismissal; charged with the energy and obscurity of black metal, the emergence of a universal foe can be perceived in the development of this track, enemy which is repelled at all costs throughout the rest of the album, as In "Call of the Blade" where the capabilities of this band go from sonic raids that go from IRON MAIDEN to ENTOMBED to SYMPHONY X all within the range of one song raging, "The gods have asked for fire and death, who are you mortal to deny?" pretty brutal, huh?

It will always be more than mind blowing and edifying how artists can hold on to their projects in order to brew them long enough to come up with such and outstanding and solid record as this one,  when one comes across works of art such as this, the importance of tags, labels and frontiers created by the so called denomination of genres is faded into the background, and even after seven years of their hiatus, DIVINE ELEMENT manage to become one of my new favorite and I am sure that you will find it easy to share this feeling with yours truly. A record worthy of Metal Valhalla, and the value to be shared from one Metal brother to another, so spread the word, A new record by DIVINE ELEMENT almost a decade in the making, a vibratory momentum in all that is good in metal all in one album.
