"The Human Negligence is Repugnant" is the fifth full-length album released by Brazilian thrashers Distraught. Formed during the 90's, the band is composed of Andre Meyer on vocals, Marcos Machado and Ricardo Silveira on guitars, Nelson Casagrande on bass and Dio on drums (no, not that Dio).

The album starts with the song "Borderline", a pure 100% thrash metal song filled with headbanging-till-your-head-falls-off-your-shoulders-and-moshing-inducing riffs that foreshadows the brutality precision of the rest of the album. Another song worth mentioning is the song "Psycho Terror Class" that talks about the tragedy that befell a school in Realengo, Rio de Janeiro when a former student invaded it with guns blazing and killed several students, most of them girls between the ages of 12-14.

This album is filled with anthems of revolution and odes to the people that lay on the borders of civilization, forgotten by the law, it is a must for all fans of Thrash Metal that enjoy having their ears brutalized by the strength of undiluted pure thrash.
