Demolition
Disinter

No scene around the world can be said as fair in one aspect: even if we have 3 or 4 great names on it, does it means that only those bands exist? As an example, when the USA Death Metal scene comes to mind, people usually think on the names based in Florida, but there are many names from other states and cities as well, but without earning the same respect and success. And to think that Chicago (Illinois) would give birth to a name as DISINTER (a veteran Death Metal act that was born in 1990) that is releasing such fine album, "Demolition".
Their musical work can be said as Death Metal in the same vein of names as 'old' DEATH, 'old' MORBID ANGEL, CANNIBAL CORPSE and others that have a more traditional approach, and that is filled with many influences inherited of Old School Speed/Thrash Metal. But the energy unleashed by the band and their personal approach make things really tasteful. So be prepared to have your lungs turned inside out by their aggressive, catchy and great musical work. The sonority of "Demolition" respects a lot the traditional Death Metal model: brutal, aggressive and distorted, giving the idea that your ears are being drilled by a blood drilling machine. But things are defined in a way that anyone can understand what the band is playing, and the ideas expressed in each song, even with some sound differences that exist due a fact: this album, in reality, is a compilation of the band's three unreleased 3-tracks Demos of the past three years.
The first Demo (recorded on 2019) shows "Demoliton of the Mind" (a classic Death Metal song, with fast tempos and nasty guitars), "Dead Inside" (a slow-paced rhythm hooks the fans' attention, and what very good work on the vocals, using some screams to contrast with the guttural grunts) and "Disinter"; the second Demo (of 2020) has "Red Queen" (a catchy and abrasive Death Metal appeal is showing through a Death/Thrash Metal embodiment), "The Hell We've Become" (even with the traditional Death Metal format, some Thrash Metal influences can be heard on the guitars' arrangements), and "Demonic Portraiture" (this one inherits some classic Heavy Metal and Old School Speed/Thrash Metal influences on the guitars); and on 2021 comes the third Demo, comprised by "Reanimate the Ravenous", "The Curse of Eternal Night" (another classic Death Metal song, with a fast approach that shows the good work of the vocals), and "Breaker of Bones". And it's a fine release for a Death Metal addicted, indeed.
All that's left after listening to "Demolition" is to expect that DISINTER can come with a full new album as soon as possible!
