Disabled - The Final Exhumination album cover

Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: DISABLED; signed via XenoKorp Kvlt Series, hailing from French grounds - performing Brutal Death Metal, on their 5th Demo entitled "The Final Exhumination" (released July 10th, 2020).

Since formation in 1991-1992 (as DOWNED); renaming themselves as the monkier DISABLED in 1992; the quartet in question have 5 Demos, an EP and a Compilation in their discography so far. I am introduced to their 5th Demo entitled: "The Final Exhumination". 9 tracks ranging at around 28:43; DISABLED arrange an intricately designed formula of some heavy-hitting Brutal Death Metal developments.

"Exhumimation" begins the record; opening up with this shroud raining thunder, with this looming presence digging into a grave...until this unearthing of otherworldly demonic growls forebodes eardrums and then the "Massacred By Slitting" implements a gnarly aesthetic with this blistering barraged frenzy of ominous distortion. Armed to the brim, channeling a borderline foundation of jumpy punchiness, tight trailblazing rhythms & riveting old-school Brutal Death Metal mayhem. Manifesting this meticulous synergy of amplified adrenaline, boisterously bouncy hooks and fierce firepower harnessing an intensely immense fabrication of rampent fretworks in which rumble with reverberating grooves...executing a concretely gritty detail of uniquely versatile vehemence that storms with tempestuous melody.

Surging with monstrously meaty maelstroms of rawly rough yet primitively piledriving finesse, grinding into a dimensional hybrid of high-octane lacerations & killer weightiness. Consisting of Stéphane MORILLON on vocals; the frontman excels at a profusely robust profanity of some savagely sinister throatiness, snarling with raspy pipes & uproarious lungs in which shriek with Corpsegrinder esquire barks, forging a high-pitched yell that bellows into a shouty roar of volatile possession.

"The Beast of Csejthe" is a hardened slab of some solid yet malicious slayings; revelled with a bulldozing fabrication that rips with sonically seamless shreds from guitarist Eric MOYEN, who skyrockets with organic substance & monolithic tempos that swift with rapid nimbleness while smothered with this outrè panache that oozes out a healthy dose of some sulphurously quintessential virtuosity. Crafting a detailed attribute with this ability in showcasing this dynamically dextrous armament of crunchy diligence; frantic hostility, and these stampeding chugs in which ravenously frolicks into a galloping embodiment of rompy sharpness. My only gripe has been the production; it's a little off key in terms of perfection, but being Brutal Death Metal - this sub-genre malformation is a natural representation of the suffocating brutality it's meant to chisel into your soul with.

"Ultimate Desecration" distils a distinctively distinguished demonstration within this structure of relentless songwriting musicianship; rampantly bludgeoning brains with this slick bassline battering from audible bassist Pascal BIRONNEAU, injecting an infectiously driven flair that thumps with chaotic combustion & venomous stompiness. Experimenting a berserking but bulldozing triggering that quakes with neck-breaking, baton-crushing madness. Salubriously smashing skulls with head-banging empowerments that portrays this quantum spectrum of some wildly rushing stabilities that will make you want to break chairs over other chairs in no time!

"Stabwound Butchery" opens up with this outrageously rambunctious pummelling from hammering drummer Laurent ROY; who pounds the set with steely precision, and a vibrantly quirky potency that unleashes unbound havoc into speakers taking you over with this scorching smack as he flows into a persevering pattern of persistent speed. Systematically timing with trembling flickering, and a chunky boundary that rattles with rowdy headiness establishing a hefty amount of punishing slams that supply constructively fierce integrity with this visceral disdain in this transfixing arsenal of explosively tenacious weaponry. The vocals also impressively illustrate insane screams that feels like this spiritual cacodemon type of fiend, taking you over in a deadly but hypnotising intention as you try to escape his hellish chords in a pleasing yet mesmerising way.

"Abolish The Church" is another dark destroyer that makes one want to go into those religious grounds, lighting them up with a candlemass blasphemy. Compiling an obscenely satanic pandemonium of ruthless silver-lining ruination; DISABLED are a bonafide contingency to thrill you with this bombastically bombarding muscle, which subjugates listeners into a frantic free for all of crazy proportions. "Child Abuse" is an unpleasant title but a heated bash fuelling fluidly progressive technicalities to melt faces like a double-edged sword, slashing with wicked but barbaric domination to pulsate flesh and scatter windows with shattering repugnance. The penultimate track

"The Eagle Of Eli" flies like a crude ignition of tormenting bombings; belligerence, and massive nastiness that will make you wince at all of this grim and corrosive outbursts DISABLED brilliantly converge. Overall concluding this malevolent creation with the epic outro: "Back To The Beyond" which makes you imaging the burial returning to the grave after his enlightening fulfillment of total bedlam in the world that was once whole now freely able to rest with the sins of corruption; I am compelled to say that DISABLED certainly outdone themselves with this one.

Bottom line; while the sound production can be a little rotten, that's Brutal Death Metal for you. DISABLED delivered an indefinitely gruesome discovery that metalheads worldwide will most likely want to marvel at and digest its intriguing characteristics of mandatory yet spellbinding sturdiness of heavyweight artillery. There is a lot of replay value here as well, so this will be an record that most surely wants to be checked out a few times. Have at it!
