Crash-Landing
Die Toten Hosen

April 1, 2001
Die Toten Hosen are no newcomers to the punk/rock scene. Actually they are one of the oldest left, since they are active from 1981. Originating from Dusseldorf, Germany, Die Toten Hosen present us their first album fully in English, Crash-Landing.
Crash-Landing follows their known and established old-school punk-rock style, with fast and catchy riffs, and groovy rythms. They may not innovate but the outcome is very pleasant to the ears, with the lyrics completing the very good music. Full of caustic and sarcastic humor, the lyrics touch many social problems, like they always have done.
The album also contains cover versions of 2 well-known songs: I Fought The Law by The Clash (a very good cover) and I Am The Walrus by The Beatles.
Crash-Landing is a very enjoyable album, easy to listen, and is a very good choice for those who like old-school punk/rock.
