Devariem - Planet Earth: Ground Zero album cover

Debut album for the German based Thrash Metal band named DEVARIEM, if I haven't addressed my quandaries regarding Thrash Metal I won't do it now anyway, however don't worry I will give DEVARIEM the respect they deserve. The debut was named "Planet Earth: Ground Zero" and it consists of 8 tracks that unlike many Thrash Metal albums before, not too short.

As expected, "Planet Earth: Ground Zero" is straightforward Thrash endeavor, nothing sophisticated other than what was displayed on "Casketeer" where I noticed a few Power Metal elements implemented, nifty composition. Best songs new debut are Casketeer that I just mentioned and "...Our Killer Reputation" providing some great riffery and musical dexterity.

Don't get me wrong there isn't anything bad in this album, however the album doesn't excel in anything, it's basic Thrash Metal album that is added to what I believe it to be, a dying genre, probably one of its last breaths in my opinion.
