DESTRUCTOR's fourth album is fast as hell, rip out your guts thrash.  It assaults your ears, pummels your senses, and will probably give you whiplash.  The eight tracks are very hungry-they furiously beg for your undivided head banging attention. The first track, "Restore Chaos," fires right out of the gate with razor sharp riffs, quick drumming, and gruff vocals.  Dave's vocals are caught somewhere between a throaty growl and falsetto vocals-he isn't going to win any awards for his range but his vocal delivery, or shall I say attack, is more than capable of holding up the band's aggressive sound and is a perfect fit for thrash.

The next track, "Metal Strikes Deep," is a similar thrash assault but adds some much needed groove before the vocals start.  The song is solid but pretty standard thrash however the solo stands out and wouldn't be out of place on a KREATOR album.  The best feature of the band is that even if they are playing basic thrash, each song has a hook that just reels you in, either in the form of a riff or a ripping solo. The bridge for "The Last Days," is a thrash fest, the entire band just banging out their instruments, putting them through a series of torturous riffs, great drumming, and some solos sprinkled through all the chaos.

Unfortunately, the album's lack of variety makes all the songs blend in together and if you are not paying attention, there isn't any way to tell when a track ends and another begins.  They could take a page out of TESTAMENT, DEATH ANGEL, or KREATOR's book and add in a little variety.  The true to form thrash metal sound is appreciated, and it is something that isn't seen often really, but it does become a little middle of the road at times. It's a very solid thrash album but considering they are from the era of the aforementioned bands plus SODOM, NUCLEAR ASSAULT, OVERKILL, and DESTRUCTION, they just lack that little something to keep me interested.
