DEMONICAL are a Death Metal band from Sweden. DEMONICAL have unleashed their latest hell-bent fury EP consisting of 4 tracks of new, original material. The latest EP is titled "Black Flesh Redemption". DEMONICAL have released their current EP through Agonia Records.
DEMONICAL's first track of their latest EP is titled "Cursed Liberation", which begins with a sound like water dripping from a faucet. It's dark and conspicuous before it launches into a thundering rage of heavy drums, thrashing guitars, and growling/roaring/guttural vocals. It's everything an old-school Death Metal band should by all rights be. The entire album follows suit with the second track "Down In Flames" beginning with more face-melting drum beats, and breakneck guitar riffs. The growling and snarling continues as well. The dark, heavy topics of fire and curses ooze from the lyrics, and the band's aggression is made extremely clear throughout their entire EP.
Both of the last tracks "Throne Of Perdition" and "To Become The Weapon" continue to discuss the topics of darkness that Death Metal is known for. There are discussions of how people sacrifice everything to survive and move on in this life. There is discussion of how people must overcome pain to be a force in this world, and stand up for themselves in what is turning in to a chaotic place.
DEMOINCAL are in every sense of the term old-school Death Metal. Skull-crushing drumbeats, bone-crunching guitar riffs, and low guttural vocals are all present on this EP. It's a job well done by an experienced band in DEMONICAL. The lyrics include topics of guns, violence, sacrifice, and fire as is typical of Death Metal as well. Overall, it's a solid release from the first bone-crunching guitar riff to the last skull-crushing drumbeat, and everything in between. It's a job well done by DEMONICAL on this latest release. Here is to hoping there is a full-length LP behind it soon for "old-school" Death Metal fans who crave this kind of passion in their music.
