DEHUMAN is a Belgian Death Metal band that recently released their debut album "Black Throne Of All Creation" through Kaotoxin Records. A growling Death Metal album that contains fast, slow and dragging energy.
The more Death Metal bands there are, the harder it gets to create an own sound, a sound that can be categorized as death metal as well as a sound that can be recognized as the bands own. Mostly that comes down to; how well can a band put down an atmosphere and how good are they in sharing and steering the energy they've been putting into it. DEHUMAN shows with their debut album "Black Throne Of All Creation" that they are capable to steer and put down an atmosphere that suits the Black Metal scene.
DEHUMAN made me think about a huge black truck as big as an entire street, moving steady through the world after an apocalypse, showing the left overs of what once was called civilization. Deserts, ruins and other sceneries filled with Death and destruction that are not to miss are passing by no matter how fast the truck is moving. And even when the truck seems to slow down, it's still unstoppable due to the enormous weight that keeps it going even after hitting the breaks.
DEHUMAN shows talented players on a mission and "Black Throne Of All Creation" not only contains pounding drums, flying guitars, rolling bass melted together with not impossible to follow growling vocals, but "Black Throne Of All Creation" also contains determination and the skills to get there where they want to. So in my eyes Dehuman did an excellent job with their debut album "Black Throne Of All Creation".
