DEEPSHADE hails from Northwestern, England. The trio has recorded their album "Everything Popular Is Wrong" and plans to release the album on September 24th, 2015.

DEEPSHADE's description on their Facebook page says "THE BEATLES meets BLACK SABBATH" and while the music itself is a bit of Psychedelic mixed with a classic Rock sound, their description is one gigantic, pretentious insult. I would describe DEEPSHADE as more of a mix between a bad U2 performance and the house band at a dive bar that only played because the usual house band canceled that day.

The riffs on "Everything Popular Is Wrong" are uninspired and flat and the vocalist sounds like he's constantly on the verge of throwing up. While listening to the album, I couldn't help but notice that the songs seem to blend together to the point of almost being indistinguishable. The riffs for "Time" and "The Line" are practically identical while "Tattoo" comes out of nowhere and is two minutes of pointless, childish rambling about some random woman. That sort of nonsense seems to be a running theme in "Everything Popular Is Wrong", DEEPSHADE tries their damnedest to be deep and poetic but they completely fuck it up. If you are truly deep and honestly have something to say you don't need to try that hard. There is nothing original or impressive about "Everything Popular is Wrong", describing it as an abortion would be a disservice to the hardworking, stressed-out professionals who provide that often life-saving task.

DEEPSHADE isn't the worst band in the world or the worst I've heard, but they might just be the understudy.
