Decease - Exhort To Obliterate album cover

DECEASE was formed in May of 2011 in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca as the initiative of guitarist / vocalist Radu Vulpe and drummer George Alb. A few months later Radu's brother, Catalin Vulpe joined the band thus completing the formula.

Starting as a solid three piece line-up and powerfully influenced by the late 80's, early 90's Thrash scene, DECEASE shows no limitations with their writing ability and style, combining raw, fast, brutal drumming, aggressive but also dynamic and catchy riffage, crushingly powerful bass lines with a strong grunting screaming voice. After the little PR brief I just wrote I will state and say that it's my first review of a band coming out of Romania and it's a great thing, it's so nice to see that Metal has penetrated other countries other than the known ones.

So you probably understood what kind of Metal DECEASE is playing and believe me that's what they do, it's a seven songs album and you probably asking how come? Becase it's a nine tracks album stated on the list, however in reality two tracks are only a short instrumentals and so we are left with seven tracks that deliver a knocking blow of brutal Thrash meets Death Metal, don't get me wrong it's not that the album is perfect yet what DECEASE is trying to deliver, they do it in the best of forms.
