Rockers And War

DEBAUCHERY are doing unremitting efforts showing an endless obstinacy. Only one year since the complete uninspired Continue To Kill they return with their sixth album in seven years time. This one surely has diversity in song styling, basically the first six are between Death and Black while the other five are this AC/DC covered by SIX FEET UNDER thing.
The record starts with There Is Only War and the sounds of a battle conflict and then we found some keys with a blast hell behind. Almost apathetic moving in risibility levels mastered by DIMMU BORGIR and a refrain with a classic four time repetition of the title song. Primordial Annihilator is a SLAYER copy, again with a furious drumming executed by Tomasz Janiezewski previous in BELPHEGOR(!!!). Generally is a good song, with a nice bridge, pleasant I could say, besides it's almost a SLAYER cover, it cannot be bad including a same refrain in DEBAUCHERY's solid standards. Honour And Courage has a piano - NIGHTWISH melody and then again blast and double - bass panic. The bad taste in all its glory. What can I say? Just like a Eurovision competition between DIMMU BORGIR and CRADLE OF FILTH. I believe you can understand how the refrain is.
SIX FEET UNDER and CANNIBAL CORPSE together with some HYPOCRISY inside the quite good Savage Mortician that also has a total unexpected refrain. Of course I'm kidding. On the other the Killing Ground has some philharmonic orchestra and… fuck them all! No mercy. No mercy? How poor mind do I have? The bottom, the real bottom comes with the 'masterpiece' Wolves Of The North. Indescribable. East melodies, total commercial total crap. Now what all these Arabic nights have to do with the North, you can search it.
As I said before from the seventh song and after, DEBAUCHERY change their musical face and start covering AC/DC and thankfully the whole things are much better now. Surely the voice may be not the one that you can expect but at least the result is bearable. 3 Riff Hit is what the title says, good enough with the vocalist singing that he doesn't want progressive shit but just a 3 riff hit to feel ok. And I think he made it. Also the New Rock is unrepentantly really nice with a hammering your ears solo while Hammer Of The Blood God, Demon Lady and Rocker can bring some smiles of enjoy. It can be a perfect company for some whiskey drinking in your room's midnight party. Please, don't expect something bombastic, it's just some AC/DC copying and you know, by only hearing such riffing it brings happiness.
Anyway, I don't have to add anything else except that they prove to be so horrible that in the end I'll start to like them. If you find it in a low special offer price you can give a try to some songs and may Thor help you with the others.
