To start off this heavy album is "Devil Man". This first track is a guitar heavy song with drums to match. With a nice guitar solo and nice vocals, it's an all-around a good song. "Dirty Water" is another note-worthy song. It has a sexy drum and guitar beginning. It has exceptionally nice vocals. It is a bit gritty sounding, but in a good way. This will be added to many playlists. It is just that good.
This Aussie band knows how to rock. "We Are One" begins with heavy speed drumming before going into a powerful guitar. This is another one with good strong vocals. It is a different kind of love song for sure. Great for a Heavy Metal wedding dance. That is a compliment. It has a good guitar solo. This is good Metal. The guitar beginning going into "Raise Your Hands" that will be memorable to anyone hearing it. This will be a great song to hear in a live performance.
There is plenty of heavy guitars on this album. These are very talented musicians. They know how to play their instruments. The last track is "Lake of Fire" has a beautiful yet eerie guitar beginning with a strong vocal. It continues to be an eerie sounding song but it works wonderfully. It has a great beat and the guitars are favored. It is a great guitar song. The guitar solo is slow and steady which it should be. The Bluesy feel to this album is the best of. It is one of those songs that one wants to hear on a Rock album. The drum solo is good and placed well in the song to where it isn't overpowering the guitars or vocals. The song itself is well produced as well as well composed.
This album is cohesive in many respects. The tapestry of sound from guitars, bass, drums, and vocals is what Heavy Rock is in this present day. The album is good and will be enjoyed over and over.
