What a fucking great EP "The Skull of The Sorcerer" is!!! Four songs of pure Doom Metal masterpiece!! Fans of Doom Metal needn't even continue reading as this is a must have for people that appreciate this oft-forgot genre of Heavy Metal that focuses on the experience of the song itself with the instruments, vocals and lyrics all combined to provide a better transcendental experience instead of solely focusing on riffs or pointless "brutality". "The Skull of The Sorcerer" is an example of what a Doom Metal record should be, especially in regards to lyrics with them ranging from Lovecraftian inspired songs ("Dagon's Blood"), mystical / Dio inspired tales ("The Skull of The Sorcerer") and contemplations about death and life ("By The Blessing of Death" and"In Servitude to Destiny")
