Das Moöse, the self proclaimed “Greatest Heavy Metal Band In Park Slope.” has mixed sound of heavy metal/punk fused with jam band styling to create their own unique sound. Hailing from the savage stoops of Brownstone Brooklyn, New York, Das Moöse has become a neighbourhood favourite with their powerful live performances and funny, hard-hitting songs. Adam Dubin singer & guitarist brings his ample experience playing in The Stoned and filming multiple music legends (Metallica, Beastie Boys) to the fore with Das Moöse. While guitarist Joel Bloom ,drummer Drew Haase, a veteran of the 90’s Austin bar band scene with Rob Kassabian completing the line up on bass.

Moosehenge” a bit of a bizarre title for an album, the opener “Death, Death, Death And More Death” is a fast tempo track from the off which has promise, but that doesn't last long it just sounds terrible musically and vocally, so much so my attention is gone, the song skipped. ”Three Fifths Whiskey” is a an improvement a southern rock style track with soul, some piano runs adding to the melody of the track. ”Forgiveness Blues” is a more mellow bluesy rock affair which is a average track nothing special, just one of those album track fillers. “Traction Park Massacre (Don't Cry For Me)” however is a great punk style track, catchy melody and lyrics a vast improvement on the previous tracks. ”Jinglehiem” & “Gasoline” just don't keep my interest, the tracks are no sooner over that I've forgotten them already, nothing catchy or memorable about them for me. ”Don't Go It Alone” offers a little hope a slower number compared to the previous tracks, middle of the road track with a nice chorus.”Hip Huggers” has some nice catchy guitar riffs ,with a catchy melody and rhythm section ,however the vocals lack that killer conviction to do it justice. ”All Systems Go (For The Apocalypse)” another heavy rock/punk track is actually quite good, ending the album better than it started.

Das Moöse “Moosehenge” didn't do anything for me unfortunately. “Moosehenge” is an album that I will never listen to again which I can say with absolute certainty. Apart from “Traction Park Massacre (Don't Cry For Me)” and “All Systems Go (For The Apocalypse)” the album is terrible ,one of the worst I have heard this year.
