Metal maniacs, rejoice! I am proud to present to you: DARKEST COLOR; signed via No Remorse Records, hailing from Greek grounds - performing Thrash Metal, on their debut album entitled: "Deal With Pain" (released May 4th, 2018).

Since formation in the late 1980s; the quintet in question have only this here album in their discography so far: "Deal With Pain", having split up in 1990, the founder of DARKEST COLOR - Tom (vocals/guitar) would eventually resurrect the band decades later. In that time, he would be kept busy with Greece's more popular Thrash Metal quartet - FLAMES. 9 tracks ranging at around 40:52; the band arrange an intricately designed development of hard-hitting, Thrash Metal battering distinctions. Starting off with "Darkest Color"; already I enjoy consistently driven executions of Thrash Metal, rhythmic grooves and relentlessly energetic speed that makes me want to thrash like a maniac and get caught in a mosh!

Consisting of Tom on vocals/guitars; I enjoy complex dexterity of efficiently savage, and sinister dynamics which contrasts with high-pitched yells and screams that have a dominating efficaciousness to it. "Politician" showcased blistering riffs and solos in which bounce, chug and gallop with fierce velocity, Elias on the powerhouse bass delivers a vast amount of crunchy aesthetics...in songs like the titular track and "Jesus Christ". I wish I could name the drummer; the only problem with that is the obscurity of the band, it was hard to find the information. "Deal With Pain" is a re-issued re-release afterall, however – the drummer crushed, hammered and smashed away with power, especially in "Immaculate Conception".

"Slam Dance" provided a grandiose manifestation of thunderously thumpy substances, supplying an organic formula of motivating melodies in which made me rampage with a frenzied onslaught of proficiently executed grooves. "Sea Of Blood" clarified this as I did not want to sit down, the prompt diligence here is remarkably rewarding - fluidly kicking my arse with its polished sound production and enlightening songwriting creativity. "The End (Black End)" conveyed original and memorable craftsmanship, as the maddening performances here demonstrate excelling fulfillment. Overall concluding "Deal With Pain" with the brilliant HOLOCAUST cover: "Death Or Glory" my expectations were definitely exceeded to the fullest.

DARKEST COLOR is a magnificent discovery; this is Thrash Metal that I thrive for, and it is such a shame that they disbanded. "Deal With Pain" is a spectacle of might, full of electrical energy and salubriousness – do yourself a favour, and educate yourself with some old-school, Metal mastery. Simply put - definately check it out!
