The Boxer And The Boozer

Third attempt from Dannie Damien with the title "The Boxer And The Boozer". His previous work "A Cowboy No One Gets" was a really sweet work. This new album has not excited my anticipation. It remains an adequate album but nothing more.
Dannie's influences haven't changed since the last album a bit. "The Boxer And The Boozer" is a melodic Rock album, with an adequate production, and if Dannie pays attention in a couple of things I believe that he could be among those musicians that should get a record contract.
Dannie is a charismatic musician, capable of composing sweet flowing melodies, but still he is not a singer and it seems that it will take time until he realizes that. Since there is a voice problem, and an accent one, there is no reason to go further. Just to add that starting the album with Dannie behind the microphone it is a really bad idea. Actually it is a pity for the simple reason that because of the vocals quality the music will not be fully appreciated.
There are three guest singers in this album, that kinda save the situation. Angelo Gasagrannde, Fabio Simonato and Cicio Ronchi. All of those three dress the music with totally suiting vocals. There are some amazing moments in this album but still I have to rate it as a whole, so...
