Crystal Tears - Hellmade album cover

Normally, a Power or a Speed Metal band doesn't get much of popularity in the scene. And CRYSTAL TEARS do belong to one of those category where none must have heard about that, even with 3 demos and 3 albums. This band is striving its best to get a better music. Personally, I am choosy about the quality of power metal and I felt this band was Modern Power Metal with their sound. The only best thing about this band is that the lyrics has a theme, it was never ending. Power vocals from the track 1 "Destination Zero" sounded a bit Persian/ Greece to me. And precisely, the band is from Greece. With epitome of the music, there was more disappointment. Especially the vocals need polishing here and there except for others, it wasn't sloppy at all. With incredible backing vocals and as an instrumental track, the whole band can be appreciated for its foremost blend of dedication and the passion of Power Metal implanted in the album. "Hellmade" album sounds pretty sharp and at the same time, it sounds like it's not my cup of tea kind of a thing.

With sophistication of the album, there is amalgamation of growls and cleans in here and there for example track 2; The skies are bleeding. If the band notice that their album has incredible potential of pulling out the best Power Metal/Speed Metal, they would prefer to cut out the growl part. Because it really doesnt suit the tracks at all. The whole track sounded like it was a mix up. Giving a bad review for the band is more like throwing out a talent in the street. But the point is the album which was supposed to be their more or less first starting of the potential.

Their best tracks are "Under Your Skin", "The Devil Inside" and "Rock N Growl". Technically speaking, the guitars as in the bass and rhythm sounds brilliant so as the drumming. Its surprising that the lyrics are too good to be sung out. It has themes of Life and Rock. For example track 10 talks about the rock. Track 2 "the skies are bleeding" and track 1 "Destionation Zero"; about Life.
