Telephone Call at home between husband (M) and wife (W):

M: "Hello love, when will you be home?"
W: "You know my work finishes at five, so I should be back around half past. Why do you ask?"
M: "No reason, I just like to know when I should have dinner ready."
W: "Are you sure there's nothing going on? Do I need to be worried?"
M: "No, I'm sure. I'll see you at half past five then. Have fun at work! Love you!!"
W: "Now you really have me worried, as you never finish a telephone call by telling me you love me. What the hell is going on?"
M: "There really is nothing to get worked up about. I just might have a little surprise for you and want it to be perfect when you get back."
W: "Oh, okay. I'll let it slip for now, but I'll be wondering until I get back. Got to dash. There's work to be done here. Love you!"
M: "See you later, dear."

The fact is, she really needs to be worried. You've been listening to the new CRISIX album all day in order to review it, and it has caused me to lose all my inhibitions. If you don't know what kind of music this band plays, it is old school ANTHRAX meets DRI, so real Crossover Metal. These Spaniards have got the art of making you happy down to a T. Especially on "Full HD" (read Full Hate), their sixth full length album.

It starts when opener "The Many Licit Paths" really gets going. You just can't sit still or even relax. No, you need to go around your room whilst throwing your arms from left to right and your hear banging like a maniac. If you thought that was bad, wait until the three next songs grab hold of you. The brilliant trilogy of tunes, consisting of  "Extreme Fire Hazard", "Full HD" and "Macarena Mosh" will make you forget your surroundings which will cause you to go around and take hold of your chandelier and swing along as long as it holds. When it collapses, your furniture is anything but safe, as you feel you're one of those extreme roof runners, just taking off and landing where is available.

This keeps on going throughout the rest of the album, and when it finishes after 41 minutes you find out you've actually thrashed the place. Your chairs are shattered, your table is in bits and the inside of your settee cushions is scattered all over the place. Not to mention that you haven't got any ceiling lights any more. You realise you've only got three hours to get new furniture, repaint the room and get dinner going. So yes, the wife does have something to worry about. The real question is, do you? Yes, you do, in "Full HD", otherwise you'll have a CRISIX on your hand. (Sorry, couldn't resist the pun.) Maybe you should don a straightjacket next time you listen to "Full HD". Or just go and visit a neighbour and listen to it there. Or be at a venue to see them live. CRISIX is just as good live, possibly even better!
